If you aren’t familiar with FTOPS (Full Tilt Online Poker Series), this is a tournament series similar to the World Series of Poker. With 25 events which include Hold’em, Omaha, Stud, Razz and mixed game events, the guaranteed prize pool for the series is over $18 million! The prize pools for each of the FTOPS XII events range from $150,000 – $2.5 million.
Each event is hosted by one of the Full Tilt pro players, who also play in their respective events. Most of the FTOPS XII events will have a direct buy-in $109 – $535.
FTOPS XI Main Event winner Adam ‘csimmsux’ Geyer beat out a field of 5,287 players and took home over $456,000. Everyone at the final table made $34,000 or more. This time around the event should be even bigger as the series continues to grow in popularity and prestige.
