MECCA BINGO LAUNCHES SEARCH FOR FAVOURITE FAMILY RECIPES
Mecca Bingo has launched a nationwide search for members’ favourite family recipes. The competition, running in clubs and on meccabingo.com throughout August, is looking for a range of temptingly tasty recipes to feature in a cook book being launched later this year.
It could be recipes handed down over the generations or ones which remind you of a special relative or occasion. Recipes which are a local specialty or those which all the family loves simply because they taste great. No matter the reason, Mecca wants to hear about YOUR delicious dishes.
As well as the winning recipes featuring in the Mecca Bingo cook book, there’s a great range of prizes on offer:
• Club winners:
Every club will have a winner! They will win a VIP night for two at their
local Mecca Bingo, a superb food steamer and the chance to be one of
eight regional winners.
• Regional winners:
There’s only eight so competition will be fierce! They will have the chance
to cook their recipe at the grand final taking place in a professional kitchen
in London on Monday 19th October. The prize includes an overnight stay
on Sunday 18th, dinner for two and tickets to a top London show. PLUS
each regional winner will receive £250 of supermarket vouchers.
• National winner:
They’ve beaten the rest and are the best! The winning recipe will be
cooked and served at a special celebratory evening at the winning cook’s
club PLUS they will receive £500 of supermarket vouchers.

Mecca Family Favourites recipe competition is being launched in clubs across the UK from Monday 3rd August. To enter, simply complete a form in your local club or enter online at meccabingo.com giving full details of your family favourite with a full list of ingredients and cooking instructions. Meals need to be prepared and cooked in less than 90 minutes and cost less than £5 to feed a family of four.
The competition closes on 30th August.
